ANGESEN XPS TILE BACKER BOARD are of high performance, waterproof extruded polystyrene, faced with fiberglass mesh embedded into a cement polymer mortar on each side, which add extra strength and rigidity to the board.

Angesen boards can be used with all kinds of substrates and suitable for new-build and refurbishment project.

Angesen boards are totally waterproof and rot-resistant, making them the ideal solution for tiling wet areas like bathroom walls, showers and wet-rooms.

Angesen board is lightweight, easy to handle, easily cut and shaped with a sharp knife.

Angesen board will reduce the wasted heat loss into the sub-floor, saving time in bringing the flooring up to optimum temperature, with the added advantage of reducing electricity running costs.

Angesen boards can be bonded to the sub-floor or wall surface using tile adhesive and do not require any mechanical fixings for wooden sub-floors or plaster walls. For wood studding: only 10mm boards should be used, fixed with screws and washers.
